The Community of International Exporting Companies of Angola (CEEIA) and the agency for Investment and External Commerce of Portugal (AICEP) signed on Wednesday in Luanda, a cooperation protocol aimed to strengthen the economic relations between Angola and Portugal.

     Luanda — The Community of International Exporting Companies of Angola (CEEIA) and the agency for Investment and External Commerce of Portugal (AICEP) signed on Wednesday in Luanda, a cooperation protocol aimed to strengthen the economic relations between Angola and Portugal.

     The mentioned agreement, which emerged in the will of both parts for the consolidation of existing cooperation ties, was signed by the CEOs of CEEIA, Agostinho Kapaia, and of AICEP, Miguel Frasquilho.

     Speaking to journalists, the head of CEEIA highlighted the importance of this kind of accord for the country's development stressing that is aimed to facilitate the live of national companies which are seeking to internationalize their business.

     He highlighted in this context that the export is based on any healthy economy, as well as the immense possibility of cultural interchange which may come up, consisting the most relevant issue for Angolan companies evolution.

    On the other hand, Miguel Frasquilho affirmed that Angola is one of the main economic partners of Portugal, whose historical roots consist in the friendship ties and approximation between the two nations.
