The 6th Consultative Council of Ministers of Hotels and Tourism held last Friday in Soyo, northern Zaire Province recommended the hosting in August this year, involving the Ministry of Economy, a forum aimed to discuss investments for the hotels sector in the coming years.

      Soyo — The 6th Consultative Council of Ministers of Hotels and Tourism held last Friday in Soyo, northern Zaire Province recommended the hosting in August this year, involving the Ministry of Economy, a forum aimed to discuss investments for the hotels sector in the coming years.

      According to final communiqué which reached ANGOP on Saturday, the hosting of this forum, to be held in Luanda City, is aimed to clarify the mechanism of investments in the sector of hotels and tourism by the Ministry of the Economy.

      The meeting, which was chaired by incumbent minister Pedro Mutindi, recommended also the need to host, this year, the technical events on statistics, at hotels and tourism level.

      The participants in the event said that they have noticed some constraints in fulfilling the process in formalizing the services and restaurants and similar services in informal to formal sector.

      The delegates to the event recognized the role of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism in creating the mechanism and formalities aimed to materialise the Master Plan of the tourism sector countrywide.
